We can´t believe there is only one week left of this year! We have had an amazing week with two summer shows. Our Early Years show on Wednesday was full of joy with “We´re all going on a summer holiday!” to start it off, followed by more singing and our Reception class receiving their graduation certificates. There was colour, glitter, smiles, laughter and amazing cake for the party afterwards! Well done to Nursery and Reception for a fantastic year and a wonderful celebration to end it.
Friday is our summer show at the Bendinat Theatre for Years 1-6 so photos will follow soon. The theme this year is Believe In Change and we will be raising money for Voluntarios Kenia, our charity this term. There will be singing, dancing and inspiring speeches about how we can change the world. We look forward to seeing you all there.
Next week Year 5 & 6 will be off to La Victoria on their residential trip so are looking forward to lots of kayaking, rock climbing and sleeping in tents under the stars.
A reminder that Monday is a public holiday so no school. We hope you all have a lovely weekend and get to enjoy the Mallorcan festival of San Juan.

Nursery Starfish & Reception Seahorse Class
What a fun-filled and busy week we have had in Early Years! We have been singing, dancing, rehearsing and performing in our ‘Summer Show’ which took place on Wednesday. Thank you to all who came and watched the show. All of the decorations that we have worked together to create looked fantastic up on the walls! We especially enjoyed having a big party with our families and friends afterwards, playing with the balloons and eating lots of yummy treats. We have loved having a stage in our garden and have continued to sing and dance with our friends at play times.
Year 1 Seals Class
This week we had our final swimming session, Sports and our last 1:1 reading sessions too. We are racing towards the end of term so we have been finishing off any outstanding activities and practising hard for our Summer Show. We are ready to show you what we have been working on!
We were so lucky to watch the EYFS show, they've inspired us with their enthusiasm. We also have had 3 birthdays in Seals this week. A busy week of celebrations and singing!
Year 2 Turtles Class
It has been very busy in Turtles class this week. Between swimming lessons and show rehearsals, we squeezed in a creative art afternoon. We hammered petals and leaves to extract their juice and create our own natural paintings. We were so impressed with the outcome and we can’t wait to send them home. I would also like to say a big well done to Sophie and Oscar for being super readers and achieving their Gold Reading Certificates!
Year 3 Dolphins Class
This week has been a special week, with lots of singing and dancing in preparation for the Summer Show. The Dolphins have also been using their painting skills this week to create their own head pieces for the summer show, inspired by the themes; love and peace. We also had the privilege of watching the EYFS Summer Show, the children were so proud of the younger children for there inspiring performance, singing with so much confidence and energy. What a wonderful week!
Year 4 Jellyfish Class
This week the Jellyfish class have been adding the finishing touches to make their Summer Show as spectacular as possible. Not only have they put together a complex choreography to accompany their song, they have also made a banner to show their support for the Voluntarios en Kenia.
Ready for Year 5 and transition morning next week they have also prepared posters that reflect their memories and things they have taken with them from this academic year. A memorable year for all!
Spanish with Miss Campos
This week was the last week for Year 5 and 6 at Spanish beginners class. We have worked on creative artworks using their own pictures and including a nice description of themselves: physical description, what they like as well as write about their families and school!
A wonderful school year has gone by full of hard work, laughs and new knowledge. It has been such a pleasure to see the development of our students as well as in the Spanish language! From the Spanish specialists we wish our year 6's good luck for their new life chapter!
