For the last six weeks, our students at BIC Sant Agustí have been learning about Spanish artists.
From Gaudi to Dali, they have explored various different techniques as well as the history of each of the artists. Year 1 and 2 also visited the Joan Miro art museum which we are lucky to have on our doorstep.
The standard of art our students produced was extremely high. All the parents and visitors loved coming in to wander around our outdoor BIC Art Gallery, admiring the fantastic works. A huge thanks to everyone involved for making it such a successful event.
Look out for the donations box outside our Gallery – the artworks have been so popular, they are available for purchase!
All proceeds will be used to raise money for Voluntarios Kenya, a charity which our school supports each year through Ms Campos. This year Ms Campos will be going back to Kenya to work with the same orphanage as last summer. In the coming months, we will be doing several fundraising activities for this initiative, raising money so that they can do some much needed building work.
