Certified Paediatric First Aid Training for Parents

Delivered by Tineke Training Ltd, this is an excellent, popular, one-day (6 hours) workshop for: expectant parents, mums, dads, grandparents, guardians, teachers, childminders, and anyone who comes into contact with babies or children.

It’s a very practical and interactive session which also covers dealing with adult casualties. No prior experience or knowledge is required. You will get to practice your skills, e.g. CPR and bandaging, and learn how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

At the end of the session, you will gain an internationally recognized certificate, valid for three years, and more importantly, you will have confidence to deal with:

• A choking child
• Wounds (cuts, grazes) and bleeding
• An unconscious child who is not breathing (CPR)
• An unconscious, breathing child
• Shock (including anaphylaxis)
• Epilepsy
