Congratulations to students at Baleares International College who are celebrating yet another year of outstanding examination results.

This year’s IGCSE and A Level results have been outstanding, providing the school and impressive 100% of our students achieved the benchmark figure of IGCSE A* to C pass rate (including maths and English), and an A Level A* to C pass rate of 100%. Baleares International College continues to lead the way on the island for outstanding academic success and enabling all students to move into their chosen universities or careers.

The outgoing Year 13 at BIC Sa Porrassa have yet again shown how A´levels are the gold standard in the post-16 educational world, with outstanding exam success, and all students getting accepted into university. Every grade awarded was a C or above, with 60% being the highest grades possible of A or A*, across a range of subjects.

With academic excellence being one of the reasons parents choose our school, the successes of this summer have yet again set high expectations for our incoming cohorts. We look forward to continuing to inspire, stretch, challenge and support all our students throughout their time with us.

These results could only have been achieved by experienced teachers working with relatively small groups of well-motivated students who enjoy the splendid support of families who really value education.

On looking forward to going to Delft University of Technology to do Aerospace Engineering, former student Nacho said:

I am without a doubt looking forward to this new experience. I will, for sure, keep in contact with BIC and my fellow teachers. I have really good memories of my years at the school and I will never forget where I come from.
