Following months of planning and construction, we were thrilled to celebrate the official opening of our new Astro-Turf field and running track with a special ceremony in September.
Despite the clouds, the ever-present threat of rain and the sun being nowhere to be seen, the official launch of our redeveloped sporting facilities was a wonderful event!
Joined by a host of parents, reporters and local officials, we saw a fantastic display of dance, gymnastics and sport, showcasing our students' many talents. We were honoured to be joined by Juan Amengual, the mayor of Calvia, who spoke of the importance of sport and fitness, and the role of school within the wider community. To everyone who came, thank you, and also thank you to all who have worked for so long, often behind the scenes, on the many projects we have undertaken over recent years to continue improving our facilities.
