Layla Fraser is a physical education (PE) teacher at our BIC Sa Porrassa and BIC San Agustí schools. She holds a degree in Sports Science and Physical Activity (CAFYD), as well as master’s degrees in Education and Sports Law and Business. She has three years of experience teaching within the British National Curriculum.
She believes that sports and activities should instil lifelong values and fun, and she fosters an environment where students can develop sportsmanship, teamwork and a strong work ethic — skills that can be applied beyond the classroom and throughout life. Layla places particular importance on helping students embrace these values.
She has gained international experience through her athletic career as an equestrian vaulter and gymnast on horseback. She competed for Spain in top-level events, including the World and European Championships, and won multiple Spanish Championships. This experience has shaped her inclusive, values-driven approach to education and inspired her mission to share her passion for sport with children around the world.
Outside of the classroom, she enjoys CrossFit and outdoor sports such as paddle surfing and scuba diving, as well as travelling the world to experience new cultures.
