Andrew Beavon is the Principal of BIC Sant Agustí, bringing over 20 years of experience shaping British international education across the UK, Spain and Portugal. Across a career spanning senior leadership roles — including Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and Head of Primary — he has built a reputation for creating school communities where children don't just succeed, but thrive and are happy, confident and driven to achieve their very best.
Before joining BIC Sant Agustí, Andrew served as Head of Primary at Nobel Algarve British International School in Portugal. He also holds the role of Lead Inspector for the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS), helping schools across the country uphold the highest standards of British international education.
For Andrew, great schools are never built on curriculum alone — they're built on relationships, shared values and a genuine sense of belonging. He is deeply committed to ensuring every child feels seen, valued and challenged; every staff member feels trusted and empowered to grow; and every parent feels like a true partner in their child's education. Visible, collaborative and relentlessly community-focused, his leadership style is defined by one simple belief: that everyone in a school should feel they truly belong.
