James Paul is a primary school teacher at the Baleares International College Sant Agustí. He holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has 20 years of teaching experience within the British National Curriculum. James began his career as a Primary Physical Education (PE) specialist, a role he held for seven years, before qualifying as a primary classroom teacher.

His teaching philosophy centres on creating engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environments, where children feel confident, motivated, and supported to reach their full potential. James has taught across all primary year groups and also brings valuable experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level. He has held subject leadership positions as PE Lead and Maths Lead and has worked successfully in both the state and private education sectors.

James has gained international teaching experience in Spain, having lived in Mallorca since 2021. During this time, he has taught for three years at Baleares International College, working across both the Sa Porrassa and San Agustí schools. This international experience has strengthened his adaptable, inclusive, and culturally responsive approach to teaching.

Outside the classroom, James is passionate about sport and fitness and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. He is a lifelong Arsenal supporter and loves watching and discussing football. James genuinely loves his job and believes that every day in school brings new moments of joy, laughter, and learning, inspired by the children he teaches.
