Give Your Child an Exceptional Start

At Baleares International College, we provide a nurturing British education that helps children develop strong academic foundations, confidence and a genuine love of learning.

Our Primary curriculum follows the English National Curriculum while embracing Mallorca’s languages, culture and international community.

Through engaging lessons, personalised support and a broad range of experiences, children are encouraged to be curious, creative and increasingly independent.

An International Education Rooted in Mallorca

English is the principal language of learning, supported by a strong Spanish programme and opportunities to study Catalan and other modern foreign languages.

This multilingual approach helps children connect with the culture of Mallorca while developing the communication skills and international outlook needed for an increasingly global future.

Support is also available for pupils who are learning English as an additional language.

What Makes Primary at Baleares Special?

A High-Quality British Curriculum

Children follow the English National Curriculum across Key Stages 1 and 2. Core subjects include English, mathematics and science, supported by humanities, computer science, art, music, physical education and personal development.

Personalised Learning and Support

Every child learns differently. Our teachers take time to understand each pupil’s strengths, interests and individual needs, providing the right balance of support and challenge.

Smaller class sizes help children receive meaningful attention and ensure they feel recognised, included and valued.

A Strong Languages Programme

Alongside an English-language education, pupils develop their Spanish and learn about local language and culture. Opportunities to study Catalan and additional European languages support children in becoming confident international communicators.

Creative and Engaging Lessons

Our comprehensive Primary curriculum is thematic, creative and designed to bring learning to life. Children are encouraged to explore ideas, ask questions, solve problems and connect their learning across different subjects.

A Caring International Community

Children learn within a welcoming multicultural environment alongside classmates from many different countries and backgrounds.

Kindness, curiosity and mutual respect are central to school life, helping every child feel that they belong.
