Exam Results 2020
Congratulations to students at Baleares International College who are celebrating yet another year of fantastic examination results.
This year’s IGCSE and A Level results have been outstanding, providing the school and impressive 90% of our students achieved the benchmark figure of IGCSE A* to C pass rate (including maths and English), and an A Level A* to C pass rate of 100%, placing the school on a par with other top schools on the island as well as enabling all students to move into their chosen universities or careers.
The outgoing Year 13 at BIC Sa Porrassa have yet again shown how A´levels are the gold standard in the post-16 educational world, with outstanding exam success, and all students getting accepted into university. Every grade awarded was a C or above, with over half being the highest grades possible of A or A*, across a range of subjects.
BIC is an exceptional school with incredible teachers and a fantastic administration. My two sons, who have very different ways of learning, are thriving in a supportive environment. The building site is in an idyllic natural setting with ample room for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Amongst these excellent results BIC would like to highlight the outstanding Year 10 and Year 12 early entries results. Out of 22 early entries, 100% were awarded with the very top grade 9-7, or A/A*, an exceptional achievement.
These results could only have been achieved by experienced teachers working with relatively small groups of well-motivated students who enjoy the splendid support of families who really value education.
BIC Sixth Form has excellent teachers that helped get the best out of me. I especially loved the small, tutorial-style teaching and sense of community with it being a campus-style Sixth Form. Teachers have high expectations and take time to support us and this helped me become more confident, optimistic and secure about my future. I liked that we were given our own freedom as well as leadership roles within the Sixth Form, which will be useful for my career.Anusha, BIC Alumni - 2018 Class
What really strikes me about BIC sixth form compared to other schools is the small class sizes. This gives you the chance to take more responsibility in your studies. Teachers treat you as an equal - they give up their free time without any questions if you need extra help - even if it is not school related.Annabel Brown, BIC Head Girl and Sixth Form student
I like the independence we get as we get ready for University. Our sixth form is growing but we are still close - there is a family feel. Our lessons are very interactive with lots of feedback to help you grow in confidence.Leticia Rehbock, BIC Deputy Head Girl and Sixth Form student
