Wellbeing at Baleares International College

We have a commitment to the growth and wellbeing of each student. We focus on building a culture that supports the physical, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of all our students.

Personal mentoring and close pastoral care is central to a high quality British education. Our personalised approach to education ensures that your child will be known well by every teacher enabling us to deliver on the promise of the “Best of British Education”, an education that enables your child to thrive.

As a parent, it means you can be confident that your child is in safe and caring hands. Their class or form teacher is the daily link between home and school, and has an overview of every aspect of each student who is in their care. Pastoral care is most effective when there is a strong partnership between home and school - clear two-way communication, reminders and reinforcement, at home and at school, of expectations.

Our teaching staff regularly assess students' needs and performance, according to UK standards. This means that learning at Baleares International College is always optimised to get the very best out of your child during their time at school.

Our teachers provide opportunities for individual growth in small classes, often supported by a Learning Support Assistant, ensuring that every child actively engages with lessons and new students integrate quickly into the curriculum. Young learners are consistently presented with activities that will help them to develop and thrive in a challenging, but nurturing environment.

Effective pastoral care is most effective when there is a strong partnership between home and school - clear two-way communication, reminders and reinforcement (at home and at school) of strategies to support progress, and early intervention in identifying and addressing any problems that may rise.

At Baleares International College we have an experienced team of staff with a wealth of expertise that focuses on the wellbeing of our students and ensures their social and academic progress.
