The teaching of languages is at the heart of our curriculum. Whilst as a British school, our lessons are all delivered in English, we employ a large team of specialist language teachers whose mother tongue is the language they teach. All students have the opportunity to learn Spanish, Catalan, German and French.
We also deliver a comprehensive English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme, delivered by highly-qualified and experienced specialist teachers. For those students who are in the early stages of English language acquisition, they receive this specialist support in small groups or one to one.
The Baleares International College schools have been recently awarded the Accreditation by Language for Results and are, therefore, acknowledged for their high quality of EAL (English as an Additional Language) provision by The Bell Foundation.
