BIC Sa Porrassa is again celebrating the fantastic success of its students in their summer iGCSE exams. With a 97% pass rate across all subjects, a fantastic 25% of all grades awarded are at the very highest A*/A/9, with over three quarters (78%) at C/5 or above. Yet again, the hard work of our students and the outstanding teaching they receive has brought well-deserved success.
I am so proud of our students and staff, and send them all my congratulations. There are excellent results in all subjects, but it is especially rewarding in an international school with over 45 nationalities to see the outstanding results of students learning a foreign language. Every single student who took German secured a B, A or A*, the same in French, and in Spanish, which all students study, there was a 100% pass rate of C or above with an incredible 86% of these at A* or A. Similarly impressive, in a school where the majority of students do not have English as their mother tongue, the results in English were again excellent; in English language,students secured a 100% pass rate, 74% of those at the highest grades of 5 or above, and in English literature, another 100% pass rate also saw 81% of students achieving grade 5 or above. In addition, all students passed maths with over 75% of them achieving a 5 or above.
